Mark Beaney, Chartered Financial Planner
Mark advises clients on all aspects of clients' financial affairs and develops balanced recommendations based on their resources, objectives and goals. Mark developed the Whitehead Monckton's Pensions Managed Service, which provides a very good alternative to insurance-based funds for individuals.
Mark was one of the first 500 individuals in the UK to be awarded the title of Chartered Financial Planner, the pinnacle qualification for financial advisers. He holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate from the Chartered Insurance Institute and is both a member of the Securities Institute and Associate of the Personal Finance Society. Mark also received a diploma with merit from the UCE in securities and portfolio management.
He started his career in the early 1980s with leading City stockbrokers Scrimgeour Kemp Gee before joining Whitehead Monckton in 1995 to help establish the Investment Management Department and to develop a financial planning capability for the firm.
Mark is past chairman and treasurer of the Weald of Kent Round Table.
