Graham Jones, Managing Partner

Graham has been Managing Partner at Whitehead Monckton since October 2005.  He manages the strategic and operational side of the practice working with the Partnership Board and the Central Services Managers.

In addition to his managerial role, Graham retains his specialism in all aspects of family law including divorce, private child law, high value ancillary relief and cohabitation.  He is also a practising mediator.  Having gained a 2.1 degree in law from the University of Hull, he completed his solicitor finals the following year at Lancaster Gate College of Law and qualified in 1987.  He qualified as a Mediator with National Family Mediation in 1993 and was also accredited by the Legal Services Commission.    He joined Whitehead Monckton in 1995 having been a partner in a firm of solicitors in Gravesend.  He became a partner a year after and then progressed to the head of the family and personal injury department.  He became a member of the Partnership Board in 2003 and Managing Partner in 2005. 

Graham is a member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) and is secretary of the Kent branch.    He is a community Governor at Egerton Church of England Primary School.  Graham also works as a legal advisor to Radio Kent and has been the legal expert on Barbara Sturgeon and the Julie Maddock’s shows.
