Tim Monckton, Partner
Tim heads up the firm's Tenterden office and deals with inheritance tax planning, wills and trusts, estate administration and all aspects of property acquisition and disposal both freehold and leasehold with particular emphasis on development work.
After reading classics at Cambridge University, Tim gained valuable experience with a City of London law firm before joining Whitehead Monckton in 1984. He established our Tenterden office in that same year and became a partner in 1988.
Members of Tim's family have been involved with the firm since the early part of the nineteenth century and Tim is the sixth generation of the family to have worked continuously in the practice.
He has been involved in important work establishing national nature reserves on the north Kent coast.
