Since the implementation of the lockdown in March, various announcements from the Prime Minister and rapidly changing Government advice, Whitehead Monckton have continued to operate business as normally as possible albeit encompassing new working methods and processes.
All our offices and receptions are open and we are able to take on new matters and to continue with existing matters. We are here to support you, your family, your business or organisation with the legal services you require through these challenging times.
Since 4th August and the lifting of some restrictions, more of our staff are gradually returning to the physical workplace as opposed to remote working in order to assist clients and maintain speed of response and quality of service. Throughout the period we have continued to deliver the high quality and professional service that the firm has provided for nearly 240 years. In line with Government advice and for the safety of all, full risk assessments have been undertaken and increased hygiene and cleaning measures are in place. Numbers attending the offices will continue to be restricted to ensure social distancing measures can be adhered to. We are doing what we can to limit social contacts and encourage online communication where possible. If it is not possible to meet virtually, then provided social distancing measures are followed, meetings can proceed.
Please note that all clients and external contractors visiting the premises must wear a face covering on entering the building and for the duration of their visit. There may be reasons to be exempt from wearing a face covering, if so, please let us know in advance.
