Whitehead Monckton, one of Kent’s largest firms of lawyers raised over £10,000 for Porchlight, its charity of the year for 2015.  This follows similar sums raised for Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance and Ellenor Hospices in previous years.

The money was raised by holding events such as dress down days, fitness challenges and three very well supported charity quiz nights supported by clients and professional connections.

Garry Warman, Head of CSR at Whitehead Monckton, added: “Whitehead Monckton’s CSR team is delighted to hit our fundraising target for the 4th year in succession, providing valuable funds to all these local charities enabling them to continue their vital work.  We are now planning all our fund raising events for our 2016 corporate charities.”

In a slight break with tradition, we have two nominated charities for 2016, Echo and Slide Away.   We have again set a target of £10,000 to be raised in 2016 and split between the two charities.
