Alternative Dispute Resolution (including mediation and arbitration)
I always aim to provide practical and commercial advice to clients, and, where possible, will actively pursue forms of alternative dispute resolution, particularly mediation where this suits the interests of my clients.
Ranked as a leading individual for Dispute Resolution in Chambers 2020 Guide to UK Solicitors and selected by peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers ™ in UK in 2018
I joined Whitehead Monckton in 1989, becoming a partner the following year and a director when the firm incorporated in 2014 and from July 2017 have been a Consultant. I completed B. Juris, LL. B (Hons) and LL. M degrees in Australia, and Diploma of European Law at KingsCollege, London. My legal training was completed in Oxford, and I am qualified to practice law in both England and Australia. For a number of years I was Visiting Lecturer in Contract Law at the University of Lille, France.
I have lived in Kent since joining Whitehead Monckton and in my spare time (if any!) enjoy travel, wine and the theatre.
