On a sunny Saturday afternoon in June Whitehead Monckton’s lawyers and support staff joined Judges, lecturers, students and other local law firms to walk 10k around Canterbury to raise money for the Kent Law Clinic, a pro bono organisation that offers legal advice. Many local practitioners, including our Emma Palmer and Chris Longden, volunteer as advisers for the Clinic.  The walk was also part of a series of Walks taking place around the country aiming to focus attention on Access to Justice – or the lack of it!

The Whitehead Monckton team with their mascot, Molly the dog, made it round in a respectable 1 hour 50 minutes and to date have raised a very impressive - £360.00 with donations still coming in.  Given the University has pledged to match pound for pound each donation, this represents a real contribution to the fund.

Donations are still welcome and please follow the link:  https://www.justgiving.com/Whitehead-Monckton1
