I joined Whitehead Monckton in 2004 having worked primarily at City firms previously in their real estate departments. I have gained a breadth and knowledge of commercial property from both a strong Landlord and Tenant’s position.
I was delighted to take over as head of the Property group in 2020, having been part of the opening of our Canterbury office in 2013 which has thrived and expanded over the last 7 years, I am excited at the prospect of growing and developing the property group as a whole.
I specialise in: Buying, selling and leasing commercial property, residential and agricultural land; acting for developers in acquiring sites and preparing sites for sale once development has completed; property securitisations and secured lending; Agricultural Tenancies and farming contracts; managing large property portfolios, dealing with leasehold management documents; and managing large estates day to day property needs including easements and wayleaves in respect of third party rights.
Having been listed as a leading individual for Agriculture in Chambers for 2017 (clients say: "calm, concise and very knowledgeable,"), I have a wealth of experience in both commercial and residential transactions but also in agricultural matters. I have always had a keen interest in the countryside and since joining the firm I have developed an expertise in a variety of areas affecting rural businesses. When acting for the agricultural sector you have the added bonus of dealing with key commercial aspects but in a very personable manner, working with businesses and clients close to home.
I have spent the last 10 years immersing myself in the financial sector. I have a real passion for corporate lending whether this be with commercial or private lenders dealing with different types of properties including retail, commercial offices, residential properties and student lets. These fast paced transactions suits my personality and I take great satisfaction in getting deals completed.

I called Whitehead Monckton for a quotation. I came to you because I had bumped into someone in Canterbury high street whilst shopping who was a current client of Marsha’s. She was singing her praises so much that I couldn’t go elsewhere and wanted to instruct Marsha straight away!
Many thanks to both Marsha and Kayleigh for the excellent services offered throughout the sale of Forsters Cottage, which has been greatly appreciated.
