I completed an LLB Hons Degree in European Law and Languages followed by the Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England, Bristol. I worked as a paralegal at a London firm before commencing my training contract here at Whitehead Monckton.
I qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and became a Partner in 2004. I then became an Associate Director when the firm incorporated to a Limited Company in April 2014. I now head up the firm’s Tax and estate planning team.
I have expertise in:
I am a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). I am a Trustee of the Whitehead Monckton Charitable Foundation as well as a Dementia Friends Champion. I am also a fully qualified Mental Health First Aider.
What my clients say:
"A hard time personally changing my will, Kerin Speedie was professional and understanding giving me all the options avaliable to me and going through each one! Many thanks Kerin"
"Thank you for an excellent service. Everyone I met was helpful, courteous and prompt and a credit to the firm. All was concluded quickly and it was a pleasure dealing with you".
"Very professional, friendly and efficient. Always helpful and informative."
When out of the office:
My spare time is taken up driving my sons around the county to play rugby or watching my daughter in her various shows. If I ever get any time to myself I like to go for a run, preferably along the seafront in Deal!
