Overview

Planning for the future can be a sensitive subject. However, whether planning alone or as a couple, through an appropriate Will, Lasting Powers of Attorney and succession planning, you can rest assured that you and your loved ones are protected, and that your estate is shared amongst the people (or organisations) you prefer.

Why it is important to make a will

How we can help

Whether meeting by video call, or in our offices in Canterbury, Maidstone, Tenterden and London, we know that you will want a personal, caring and professional approach to your specific needs and requirements. Clients come to us because, not only do they know they will get expert advice and support, but they know we will care and listen to them. Simple Wills start at just £425+ VAT, or £625+VAT per couple.

We’re also well placed to help you ensure that your family are in the best position they can be from a tax perspective, and we offer various Will packages for more complicated circumstances.

Our team of lawyers provide expert help with the following specialist areas for you:

Through our Legal Review Programme we can ensure that the planning you have put in place remains current and up to date in terms of the law as well as your wishes and personal circumstances. For members of the Legal Review Programme we will annually review your Succession Planning documentation and provide you with written recommendations. The programme is bespoke to you and your needs, and ensures our relationship doesn’t end with the signing of your Will.

We also provide support and expertise to families when someone dies, dealing with the administration of estates at that very difficult time. There may also be times when disputes arise over people’s estates or Wills and we can also help to resolve these for you.

In particular as people become more elderly, their ability (or sometimes, just their desire) to manage their affairs can decline and we can provide sensitive and understanding advice and support to individuals and their families.   All our team members who advise elderly clients and their families are “Dementia Friends” and therefore have that greater understanding of the issues that they face.

We now have four offices providing clients with easy access to our solicitors in CanterburyLondonMaidstone and Tenterden.
