The issue of being required to provide Affordable Housing on developments of 10 homes or less, or 1,000 square metres of floor space, continues to reach the headlines.

In July the High Court ruling on the Government policy introduced in November 2014 forced Ministers to remove provisions from the National Planning Practice Guidance.

In September the Government was granted permission to appeal against the High Court ruling and so the saga rumbles on.

The Planning Minster, Brandon Lewis, who is clearly determined to reinstate the exemption made very clear in his speech at the Fringe Session as the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester.

This is not an issue that will go away any time soon.
