It’s that time of year again and the draft National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Regulations have been published. It is intended that these will come into effect from 1st April 2017. This will see the national living wage (for those aged 25 and over) increase from £7.20 per hour to £7.50 per hour, with associated increases for the other age bands.

The National Minimum Wage can be a complicated issue for employers and we recommend that employers take legal advice in respect of their arrangements in this regard.
